LinCity-NG is a city simulation game. It is a polished and improved version of the classic LinCity game. In the game, you are required to build and maintain a city. You can win the game either by building a sustainable economy or by evacuating all citizens with spaceships.

LinCity-NG is a City Simulation Game. It is a polished and improved version of the old LinCity game: You are required to build and maintain a city. You must feed, house, provide jobs and goods for your residents. You can build a sustainable economy with the help of renewable energy and recycling, or you can go for broke and build rockets to escape from a pollution ridden and resource starved planet, it's up to you. Due to the finite resources available in any one place, this is not a game that you can leave for long periods of time. This game is similar to the commercial simulation game with a similar name.

Lincity is a free and open-source software construction and management simulation game, which puts the player in control of managing a city's socio-economy, similar in concept to SimCity. The player can develop a city by buying appropriate buildings, services and infrastructure. Its name is both a Linux reference and a play on the title of the original city-building game, SimCity, and it was released under the GNU General Public License v2.
Gameplay
Lincity features complex 2D and top-down gameplay.
The simulation considers population, employment, basic water management and ecology, goods (availability and production), raw materials (ore, steel, coal), services (education, health, fire protection, leisures), energy (electricity and charcoal, coal with finite reserves, solar and wind power) and other constraints such as finance, pollution and transports. The player has to take care of population growth and various socio-economic balances.
Lincity can be won in two ways: reaching sustainable development, or evacuating the entire population with spacecraft. The Lincity homepage has a Hall of Fame, listing players who have succeeded in one of these two goals.

LinCity-NG est une amélioration du jeu Lincity. C'est un jeu de simulation économique inspiré de Simcity avec néanmoins une divergence significative sur la manière de gagner : soit vous atteignez un développement durable, soit vous évacuez tous les citoyens de votre planète à l'aide de fusées.
Le jeu vous met dans la peau du maire / du gouvernement d'un état : vous construisez votre ville (immeubles, infrastructure routière et économique, ...) et la développez dans le respect de la satisfaction de ses habitants.

LinCity-NG est un jeu de simulation urbaine. C'est une version améliorée du jeux LinCity. Le joueur doit construire et gérer une ville. Les habitants doivent avoir de la nourriture, des habitations, du travail et des biens. Il est possible de bâtir une économie durable avec l'aide des énergies renouvelables et du recyclage, mais il est également possible de tout casser et de construire une fusée pour s'échapper d'une planète polluée et sans ressources. À cause des ressources finies disponibles en un endroit, ce n'est pas un jeu qu'on peut laisser tomber pendant de longues périodes. Ce jeu est similaire au jeu commercial d'un nom similaire.
