# Godot 4.0 RC 6 Built from commit 0cd148313213e2923004be65bafd6a3781c917ec. This is a Release Candidate build for 4.0, which is now fully feature frozen and should include everything that we aim to have in the 4.0 stable release. Some release blocking bugs are still known at this stage, which we will aim to solve in coming days, but you can start using this build as if it was 4.0-stable already. Report bugs on GitHub after checking that they haven't been reported: https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues To make a custom build which would also be recognized as rc6, you should define `GODOT_VERSION_STATUS=rc6` in your build environment prior to compiling.
