# Godot 4.0 RC 4 Built from commit e0de3573f3fc86062763152f5a1ac62f5a986da3. This is a Release Candidate build for 4.0, which is now fully feature frozen and should include everything that we aim to have in the 4.0 stable release. Some release blocking bugs are still known at this stage, which we will aim to solve in coming days, but you can start using this build as if it was 4.0-stable already. Report bugs on GitHub after checking that they haven't been reported: https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues To make a custom build which would also be recognized as rc4, you should define `GODOT_VERSION_STATUS=rc4` in your build environment prior to compiling.
