# Godot 4.0 alpha 11 Built from commit afdae67cc381bb340da2e864279da6b836804b7f. This is a TESTING release with known issues, and no guarantee of stability. The API is still subject to changes, and projects started on an alpha build are not guaranteed to stay compatible with future 4.0 releases. Report bugs on GitHub after checking that they haven't been reported: https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues To make a custom build which would also be recognized as alpha11, you should define `GODOT_VERSION_STATUS=alpha11` in your build environment prior to compiling. --- Note: An earlier build was uploaded for alpha11 based on commit d631ee3307990a94c75d687fe2269af031886f4b, but it had a regression for macOS Vulkan. If you downloaded that first build (on June 29 or 30), you should re-download this new version before reporting bugs against 4.0 alpha 11.
